Location The farmhouse is located on a sunny plateau, not far from Kitzbühel on the “Römerweg” (Roman Path). The south facing, sun faded Tyrolean farmhouse is surrounded by lush meadows and enjoys views of the so-called “grass mountains” of the Kitzbühler Alps. It lies at the foot of the Kitzbühler Horn and the mighty rugged peaks of the Wilder Kaiser mountain range can be seen behind the house. To the west is the Brixental Valley and to the south, the famous Hahnenkamm. It is a peaceful idyll which is located not very far from the busy hustle and bustle of present day life and was built in unison with the surrounding countryside. The farmhouse itself is a picture of harmony. The old “Römerweg” (Roman Path) was actually a part of the mule trail used by the Illyrians and Celts who came from the south via the Felbertauern and Pass Thurn and were heading north to the foothills of the Alps. 6
